Hannah Keddie
Hannah Keddie is a Glasgow-based silversmith and graduate of Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design, working primarily with the traditional metalworking techniques of raising and chasing. These processes allow her to craft bold, fluid forms with intricate surface pattern, blending sculpture with function. Her work explores themes of growth and resilience, creating playful forms that appear to bud, unfurl and breathe, often seeming soft despite being made in silver.
Originally from the Black Isle in the Scottish Highlands, her practice is deeply informed by an intrinsic connection to the natural world, which continues to shape her affinity with living form through the tactility of metal. From her studio, Hannah produces bespoke jewellery and silverware through small-batch collections and private commissions.
