Howard Fenn
The art of the designer silversmith is the way in which form and function are interpreted. Function is a launch pad for creativity not a restriction. My work embraces a range of materials and techniques to create unique silverware. The reflective qualities of silver are one of its great characteristics. By combining silver with other materials this quality is enhanced. I rely on geometry, balance and proportion, symmetry and asymmetry of form for impact.
